EndoSan, the advanced broad-spectrum disinfectant supplied by Star International, has achieved a benchmark compliance standard from NSF International, a leading and independent quality assurance body.
EndoSan underwent stringent testing to confirm its performance and safety for use in a range of applications before being approved to standard NSF/ANSI/CAN 60: Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals – Health Effects.
The approval means that EndoSan is now recognised as meeting all regulatory requirements for the treatment of land-based water systems in the USA, Canada, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
Jeff Antley, Managing Director at Star International, said: “NSF approval for EndoSan is great news, we know this is a brilliant product and it’s good to see wider recognition at this level.
“The approval means we are now able to distribute EndoSan to new markets in the Middle East and North America and we’ll be working hard to introduce the product to our customers in those regions over the coming months.”
Ben Sallon, Managing Director of Endo Enterprises said: “We are delighted to see EndoSan’s continuous international recognition for use in water disinfection. The NSF is well recognised globally and this will help our valued partners in distribution of EndoSan - the UK’s best-selling Stabilised Peroxide.”
EndoSan is a unique solution of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) that is stabilised using a proprietary ionic silver-based chemistry. The formulation makes EndoSan a powerful, highly effective, broad spectrum disinfectant that is both stable and safe.
When correctly applied to water, air or any surface, EndoSan will disinfect through an oxidisation process and continue to safely provide unrivalled residual performance.
